[Followed right after by about a second of the sound of TARDIS engines, followed by the thump of its landing.

The Doctor perks a little at the cheek kisses as though flattered, but otherwise takes it quite in stride, casually clasping his hands together. He makes just a bit of a face at the festival, a hint of an eye roll, but moves right along.

"Ah, well yeah, makes sense, helps to keep busy, some people can't stand not keeping busy."

He trails off for a second, there, as though realize he's basically talking about himself, and raises a hand in a half-sheepish sort of wave. He sees what he did, there, even if it wasn't quite intentionally.

"...hello."

"Keep saying hello, Doctor, and I'll think you're trying to be Jack," she teases and pokes him lightly in the side.

It'd be strange to be so familiar with a stranger, but he's not, is he? He's the Doctor, and if not her first Doctor, she already thinks of him as her Doctor. She's not quite sure how that happened. Then again, she's not sure how she ended up thinking of the Doctor as her Doctor in the first place. There was a moon, a rescue, a kiss, and the next thing she knew she was trading everything she'd ever wanted from life to 'go on adventures'.

"Hello, yourself. Shall we have tea, Doctor?" Or coffee. It's not very British of her, how well she likes it.

"Ha, Jack?"

The Doctor raises his eyebrows at that, amused and a bit surprised at the suggestion, even though she's obviously kidding. Even his most smoochiest of faces weren't really to the point of being like Jack, and he was far from being one of those, himself.

He snaps his fingers and points like bingo! when she suggests tea, though, then rubs his hands together.

"Yes, brilliant, and maybe scones, have they got scones, here? Love a good scone, orrr a biscuit would do."
